It is difficult to be “good” parents in such an age of rapid transition. None of us can be sure of what we are living for—the old values are in flux, and everyone seems to be questioning, and exploring. Societies across the globe are in crisis—west or east, it makes no difference anymore.

Are we, as parents, ready to rediscover the essence of childhood in this era? Can we embrace the process of continuous learning as parents? The task of nurturing and raising a child appears immense; how should we approach this responsibility? What actions to take, and perhaps more crucially, what actions to avoid?

Integral Parenting is an attempt at opening new pathways to parenting, an adventure of learning for those parents who want to create challenging yet beautiful spaces for their children to grow up in; for those parents who understand that the richest gift they can give to their children is the gift of consciousness—infinitely greater than all the wealth and property that they can leave behind.

TOWARDSINTEGRALPARENTING

The Integral School is most suitable for parents who:

  • Embrace a holistic approach beyond academics

  • Reject the notion of fostering a competitive spirit.

  • Strive to cultivate well-rounded individuals rather than focusing solely on creating 'smart kids.'

  • Approach the future without undue concern about their child's career, financial success, or societal interactions.

  • Refrain from imposing personal beliefs about life onto their children.

  • Parents who are averse to mainstream schooling

The Integral School is ideal for parents who actively engage in inner exploration and desire their child/children to grow into aware and conscious individuals, empowered to lead their lives with freedom and conscious decision-making.

Integral education is learning-centric or learning-centered. The central focus is learning. Learning is specific to a child. Learning happens in a specific context for the child. The idea is to create conditions and opportunities to make a choice, to choose subjects, to choose where to study, what to study, and at one’s own pace.
